Dennis M. Size, Executive Vice-President of Design, first appeared on television over five decades ago, LIVE from the Scranton, PA television studio of ABC, tap dancing on the DAVID BLIGHT SHOW. After he proudly finished his routine, a curmudgeonly old stagehand took the cigar out of his mouth and said “You stink kid! You should consider a career in television lighting instead!” He took that advice and later, after a brief 18 year stint with the DISNEY/ABC-TV Network, he left his position as Senior Lighting Director and joined LDG, where he has been ‘making TV magic’ for the last 20 years.
Dennis has lit every President since Reagan, and has designed the lighting for dozens upon dozens of major projects such as NBC’s Today Show and ABC’s Good Morning America, shows for CNN and shows for FOX News; broadcast coverage of the 2016 DNC in Philadelphia and the 2016 RNC in Cleveland; talk shows such as Oprah, Ellen, Katie, The Chew, Dr Oz; and some truly ‘special’ events such as the ABC News interview with Pope Francis – Live at the Vatican.
